For our location in Schaffhausen we are looking as soon as possible for a Treasury Analyst International Funding & Banking Relations (m/f/d) Purpose of the job: The International Funding Group and Banking Relations (IFG), within Global Treasury, offers a unique opportunity to discover the world of the Capital Markets, the banking environment and to develop financial skills in Treasury. This position will give exposure to a broad variety of Financial Flexibility themes, Financial Planning, international funding activities, direct interaction with Unilevers treasury dealing activities and Treasury Control.IFGs main responsibility is to ensure that Unilevers international funding infrastructure and banking relations are suited for the current and future needs of the business. IFG maintains and develops these relationships to provide Unilever with the financial flexibility required to reliably meet its day to day and acquisition/strategic financing needs.IFG is the first point of contact between Unilever and the banks which provide more than $ 7.5 bn credit to Unilever. The team plays a critical role in risk management, dealing with interest rate management, counterparty and liquidity risks. IFG is the guardian of Unilevers credit ratings and in charge of keeping the Unilever capital structure & funding infrastructure up to date, giving the possibility to access the capital markets at any time anywhere. The team is also the first point of contact for treasury matters with M&A and plays an instrumental role in share buyback and employee share plan hedging. YOUR TASKS:
- Banking framework. Maintain the banking framework policy throughout Unilever. Monitor the performance of relationship banks and the income they earn from Unilever business. Allocate Unilevers business to protect Unilevers interest in accessing liquidity without sacrificing costs and service. Assist Treasury and the business in resolving issues arising with banks (e.g. service quality, product knowledge, counterparty exposures, etc.). - Standby Facilities. Maintain and develop standby credit facilities that meet the ongoing needs of the business and provide financial flexibility to enable Unilever to pursue its strategic objectives in a manner that is both cost effective and consistent with Unilevers approach to banking relations. - Long-term Debt Management. Develop and implement Unilevers annual funding plan. IFG monitors the international financial markets in order to identify appropriate debt markets and timing for long-term debt issues that meet Unilever Groups agreed funding objectives. IFG is responsible to execute and complete all required legal documentation and oversee any related hedging activities (e.g. interest rate and cross-currency swaps) associated with all long term debt issuances. Lastly, IFG maintains and develops a set of long-term funding programmes that give Unilever Group access to all important international long-term debt markets in a cost effective manner. - Interest Rate Management framework. Manage Unilever's international interest rate exposure, support the decision to the fixed/floating mix and incorporate changes in the fixed/floating positions, when/if required. - Counterparty Exposure to Banks. Determine suitable counterparty limits for relation banks (Group 1, Group 2 and local banks). - Bank Documentation and Agreements. Maintain and update existing agreements with Unilevers Group 1 and 2 banks relating to ISDAs, Credit Support Annex and Issuing and Paying Agency agreements. - Pensions. Ensure effective liaison with Pensions on all issues of mutual interest (e.g. banking relations, investments, documentation, risk exposure, impact on rating ratios etc.). - Procurement Commodities Team. Ensure effective liaison with Commodities on all issues of mutual interest (e.g. banking relations, investments, documentation, risk exposure, impact on rating ratios etc.).
