The laboratory of the Department of Dermatology is focused on the study of human T helper cells and their role in inflammatory skin disease. We seek a research technician to actively participate and collaborate in translational research projects in skin immunology, as well as to manage general laboratory logistics and maintenance.

  • Diploma as Biology Laboratory Technician or equivalent education
  • Experience in cellular and molecular biology
  • Command of sterile working techniques
  • Good organizational skills, good manners and work ethic (reliable, attention to details)
  • Enthusiasm for working in a scientific laboratory
  • Fluent in English and/or German
  • Willingness to work irregular hours (as requested by working with biological samples)
  • Strong social and team skills
  • Chance to contribute to interesting projects in translational skin immunology
  • Versatile job within translational research group in the fields of immunology and dermatology
  • Possibility to assume defined aspects of a research project
  • Skill building in new biomedical applications and techniques
