As our new (Junior) Sales Representative you will oversee a portfolio of approximately 25-30 key accounts in region (Romandie) and will be accountable for managing the sales and business-related activities. In addition, you will be developing strong client relationships at both the executive and operational levels within the specified accounts. Ideally, you will have had some experience in Key Account Management already. Otherwise, being good with numbers, showing great potential of personal and professional development as well as an understanding of business will do to. Our client is a successful international pharmaceutical company with approximately 55 employees in Switzerland. They are based in the Zurich area and have a variety of business lines – from Eye Care, Specialty Care to Medical Aesthetics.  The setup:

In this role you will be reporting to the National Sales Manager who has been working for 10+ years for the organization already. In addition, the team currently consists of four Sales Representatives who cover all the different regions of Switzerland. The business is generally going well but there is a huge focus now on delivering better results and gain market share in the coming months and years. Finally, you can consider this an amazing opportunity to further gain experience in Sales and to potentially develop into a future Key Account Manager.


Your tasks:

  • Accountability for operational/financial metrics and overall business results of the business unit’s sales in the territory.
  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully supporting customers to growth their business.
  • Cultivate, maintain, and grow relationships within accounts that will increase ongoing business and ensure excellent client satisfaction
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Accountable for sales force effectiveness and efficiency (KPI reporting)
  • Implement the company’s global strategic business plan at territory level to build up a strong presence in the Romandie
  • Objectives setting, performance monitoring of accounts and implementation of customer account plan
  • Maintain high focus on a strong sustaining revenue stream within compliance environment
  • Ensure integration and teamwork with team and deliver account specific plans and objectives                  


Your profile: 

  • University degree in natural science or experience as a Pharmacist/Chemist/Druggist
  • At 2 years of sales experience, ideally regarding Cosmetics/Beauty/Aesthetics products
  • Account management skills are desired
  • A background in FMCG or pharmaceutical industry is a must
  • Marketing experience nice to have
  • Fluent in French and English, German would be an asset
