Job Description: PCB Design and Project Engineer - Professional

Organization 

You are a member of the “Project Management” team, engaged with customer specific solutions. You closely work with our project managers, our software development teams, construction engineers, and partner companies working on complementary technologies. 

 

Introduction 

A three months work introduction plan is prepared for this position.

 

Core responsibilities 

In this position, you have a strong focus on specifying and implementing PCB designs for custom solutions which typically involve various signal routing and signal conditioning circuits such as level shifters, amplifiers, optical isolation and current measurements. You will further become the internal expert for electronics design, prototype / small series verification and testing. Additionally, you monitor and review implementation specifications and hardware designs of our partner companies in view of our requirements. 

 

Job requirements 

  • Bachelor or Master degree in electrical engineering or similar. 

  • Five or more years of experience with analog and digital electronic circuit design. 

  • Expert in dealing with electronic circuit simulation and design tools (preferably Altium). 

  • Experience with high-speed digital designs involving PCI express or similar serial standards is a plus. 

  • Practical experience in dealing with measurement instruments such as oscilloscopes. 

  • Experience with electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and signal integrity in the context of PCB designs, housings and cables for commercial products. 

  • Ability to serve as a knowledgeable resource to the organization. 

  • Ability and will to push new innovative ideas and designs. 

  • Self-reliance and great sense of responsibility. 

  • Strong communication skills in English, written, verbally, and by appearance 

  • Strong market research and organizational skills, and strong entrepreneurial spirit 

This position offers a high degree of individual freedom, but also requires you to proactively take ownership to further develop our I/O hardware, the crucial part of our products.
