Experience the operations of an international company firsthand during three different six months assignments over the course of total 18 months. Start date of the program is October 1, 2024. The selection process is taking place in May/June 2024.
- Assignment 1 (Switzerland): Get to know our Traction Division, its business and product portfolio, for example drive improvements and support our Project management team in a Jr. Project Manager position
- Assignment 2 (abroad): Take responsibility in a local unit with our local units abroad
- Assignment 3 (Switzerland): Assignment to be jointly shaped by the business and trainee. Possible fields of exposure: Product Management, Sales, Project Management, Engineering, etc.
- Discover your interests and different functions/roles through challenging and impactful assignments where you are fully integrated into the team
- Profit from individually targeted possibilities for training and development, professional mentoring, exposure to executives, and support from the Discovery Program team
- Actively contribute to diverse social events and team activities and use the chance to establish a broad (global) network within ABB and be a part of the ABB Trainee Community
- Develop your strengths with the help of regular feedback on your performance and clearly established performance objectives
- Completed master’s degree from university or applied science university in engineering and/or economics. and max. 3 years of professional work experience before the start date October 1, 2024
- Excellent knowledge of English; fluency or proficiency in German is a plus
- Authorization to work in Switzerland is required (at least B permit)
