We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our Process Team in Murten, Switzerland. This role involves implementing methods and techniques essential for project management related to injection molding and stamping tools development.
Your responsibilities will be to:
Manage tool projects from request to organization by tracking of costs, manufacturing, sampling and validation process
Develop detailed project plans that ensure the successful execution of projects, with a strong focus on technical and quality requirements
Act as the main contact for the injection & stamping molding projects and ensure close collaboration with internal customers (Johnson Electric’s manufacturing sites)
Supervise the release of tools, ensuring engineering, quality and production team requirement fulfillment
Analyze and improve manufacturing processes, implement best practices, conduct process audits
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure technical specifications are met by helping the expert from diverse departments to find common ground.
Organize tasks and routines to improve workflow and monitor performance metrics
Our requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a relevant field, preferably in the automotive industry
University degree in engineering (industrial, quality, electromechanical, or mechanical)
Fluent in English, with native proficiency in either German or French
Strong understanding of PCA manufacturing processes
Mechanical engineering experience in injection or stamping molding is a plus
Ability to integrate and lead a technical cross-functional team
Well-organized and detail-oriented
Strong team player with excellent communication skills
CAD design or VBA programming skills are a plus
