The Global ERP Responsible Switzerland is responsible for operating our existing Swiss SAP ECC 6.0 Manufacturing Landscape, is coordinating the operation (SAP basis and interface to infrastructure) of our Swiss country ERP applications with a specialized external service provider, is defining the global Governance for the Swiss and Chinese ERP Systems, will contribute to the planned transformation project to S/4 HANA and is planning the IS Roadmap for the Swiss and the Chinese manufacturing ERP in collaboration with its Chinese peer (Country ERP responsible China). In this role, you will be reporting to the Head of IS Production & Value Chain, based in Baden, Switzerland as part of a talented IT team who will work closely with you to ensure a stable operation of our IT systems and applications. Due to the planned retirement of the current ERP Responsible in 2026, we are looking for an optimal replacement.
Your responsibilities:
Operations Management:
Ensure that the application services provided to our customers are aligned with the customers’ needs and service level management process framework
Manage and develop the quality of application services in scope by negotiating, monitoring, and maintaining their service level respectively
Manage external offshore service providers for application managed services, define service level agreements and monitor their fulfilment, manage escalation with vendors
Initiate and maintain contractual agreements and process for external strategic application support- and service-providers
Coordinate and support our Incident management process, communicate with stakeholders to update status, resolve issues, manage their expectations and escalate if needed
Coordinate and support the implementation of changes according to support and release management processes
Support and coach implementation of initiatives which impact Swiss Accelleron SAP ERP system (incl. quality assurance and testing mgmt., etc.)
Coordinate and support architectural reviews of major Accelleron initiatives (including add-on tools to SAP) with relevant teams to ensure compliance and stable system operation
Provide functional guidance of the SAP module application owner and power user organization with a focus on continuous improvement of SAP functionalities and processes
Coordinate ERP operation budget
Define and monitor the documentation standards and audit requirements
Define and supervise the process for incident, change and access management
Ensure a professional SAP application life cycle management and governance process and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls
Set up and run professional license measurement to comply to SAP’s license audit regulations
Strategy & Transformation:
Be the main driver for the strategic Global ERP roadmap for our Swiss and Chinese manufacturing ERP’s, define strategic IS roadmap with your Chinese peer (such as S/4 HANA roadmap)
Close collaboration with Turbocharging process representatives of all process domains to ensure that initiatives are properly integrated and aligned with Turbo specific process and application landscape
Analyze new and promote high potential SAP functionality and reusable solutions with business process representatives to enable innovation
Support the S/4 HANA Transformation project and lead the Sub-Workstream for the operational Governance and the future tooling landscape
Define the future global run concept for the Swiss and Chinese Accelleron S/4 and its supporting systems
Your background:
Senior SAP ERP responsible with 10yrs+ experience working in an international environment
Experience in contract and provider management
Experience with near- and offshore support organizations
Experience with SAP authorization concept, compliance and internal control requirements
A high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and hands-on mentality
The ability to manage multiple demands on time on a global scale, working with cross-functional, virtual, and international teams
Identification and removal of obstacles / escalation and cross-functional conflict resolution
Ability to promote a team environment, good team player / coach and communicator
Thorough knowledge of IT service management concepts (ITIL)
Tough, conflict-capable, assertive, yet consensual
Analytical, capable of abstraction, strategic, pragmatic and reality-based
Fluent spoken and written English and German
Strong negotiation, facilitation and consensus building skills
