Aircraft Systems Technician - AMAC Aerospace
Job Description
Key aspects of the activity
- Manufacturing of water systems tubing including bending and beading in accordance with detailed drawings
- Assembly and installation of systems hard tubing and flex lines
- Performing 37° flared ends and associated connection M/S & AS – flared connections
- Performing flareless / harrison swage / permaswage forming procedures for systems tubing
- Providing support in production and assembly activities for aircraft components and details
- Performing trouble shooting / fault finding activities within potable water supply / drain and vacuum sub systems
- Repairing & replacing parts in accordance with OEM data such as AMMs / CMMs / OEMs and associated procedures
Required skills and qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience in aircraft potable water systems / vacuum waste lines and gaseous oxygen systems
- Knowledge of flared and flareless system connections plus swaging and pressure testing etc.
- Ability to read drawings and interpret process specifications and procedures in technical English
- Ability to manufacture formed tubes and system supply lines and perform pressure testing / bench testing criteria
