The Role:
The Student Experience & Activities Coordinator will lead or chaperone city tours, coastal cruises, arts and crafts, cooking classes, and beach volleyball - to name a few. You will gain valuable experience in planning and executing, problem-solving, customer service, budget basics, and working with a diverse global population.
Key responsibilities include:
- Strive to be a key player in creating an amazing campus culture and focusing on student satisfaction above all.
- Create and chaperone social, cultural, educational and sporting activities that cater to students’ interests
- Successfully complete activity feedback forms after each event
- Promotes school events and excursions, free or paid, through varied advertising mediums.
- Shares the management of campus social media accounts and organizes assets (photos, ads, etc.).
- Perform administrative tasks to ensure smooth and comprehensive student experience.
- Provide welfare assistance to students where required, and when necessary to have general knowledge outside the activities department to provide holistic support.
- Use local and cultural knowledge to provide opportunities and alternatives for students outside of school-planned events.
- Assist with administrative tasks, as needed
- Work with the EF Admin Team to provide excellent service to students
Requirements:
- Candidates must be willing to work flexible hours (20- hrs/wk) including some nights and weekends
- Must develop positive and professional relationships with the team, students, and the community.
- Be able to work both as part as a team and independently.
- Self-motivated and organized with attention to detail.
- Outstanding customer service and critical thinking skills.
- Must be dependable and professionally represent the EF brand.
- Outgoing, upbeat and positive attitude, and enjoy working in a busy and dynamic environment.
- Candidates must successfully pass a criminal background check.
Earnings:
- $16-17 per hour
