PROCUREMENT ASSISTANT TRAINEE / APPRENTICE
OVERVIEW:
The Purchasing Assistant will have the opportunity to participate in all the key stages of the purchasing process. He/she must provide all internal clients with support in terms of the purchasing procedure in order to facilitate its functioning within the organisation.
MISSIONS AND RESPONSABILITIES:
- Overseeing calls for tender (assistance with the preparation of specifications in collaboration with internal clients, sourcing, evaluation of bids and contracting);
- Managing existing contracts: monitoring service providers / renegotiations;
- Coordinating of the preparation of contracts with suppliers and internal clients
- Managing purchase requests in the dedicated IT tool and supporting users;
- Participating in the preparation and distribution of methodological approaches enabling the professionalisation / formalisation of the purchasing procedure;
- Analysing of purchasing data and proposals, and implementation of strategies and helping rationalise the range of suppliers.
PROFILE:
-Undergraduate or master's degree in Purchasing (Master's in International Purchasing);
-Strong interest in negotiation, cost reduction, purchasing and FIA activities;
-Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
-Fluent in English;
-Analytical and research skills;
-Organised, meticulous, attention to detail.
