This exciting role offers the opportunity to join a dynamic team focused on building, operating, and optimizing security and network infrastructures for clients. You'll play a key role in providing exceptional customer service while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage secure network infrastructure solutions for customers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network disruptions in 1st and 2nd level support.
- Implement adjustments, upgrades, and lifecycle activities following change management processes.
- Optimize and automate customer services to enhance efficiency.
- Maintain and improve operational documentation and processes.
- Ensure smooth communication with customers, external service providers, and internal teams.
- Participate in on-call rotations (with additional compensation).
Qualifications:
- Completed computer science apprenticeship or equivalent degree.
- At least 3 years of experience in network technology.
- Hands-on experience with Fortinet, Extreme LAN/WLAN, Zabbix Monitoring; Palo Alto Networks a plus.
- Experience in project and change management.
- Working knowledge of ITIL.
- Enthusiasm for cybersecurity with a desire to develop into a security specialist.
- Strong customer focus and commitment to service excellence.
- Proactive, solution-oriented approach with excellent analytical skills.
- Effective communicator who thrives in a dynamic environment.
- Team player with a collaborative spirit.
- Fluency in German and very good written and verbal English proficiency.

From Ethernet switching and routing to firewalls and advanced network technologies, the team tackles diverse challenges. The team fosters a collaborative environment where experienced engineers work alongside apprentices, valuing individual strengths and continuous learning. Team members are expected to be authentic, team-oriented, and adaptable, demonstrating flexibility to address urgent customer issues.
