For one of our clients, a boutique law firm in Geneva and other cities specialized in international litigation and dispute resolutions, we are looking for a:
SENIOR ASSOCIATE LAWYER
Job description
- Give accurate and timely legal advice to Swiss and international clients (Swiss civil and criminal law, corporate law, debt enforcement and bankruptcy, etc.)
- Collaborate with other lawyers, domestic and abroad, to advice on litigation and arbitration strategies
- Draft agreements, contracts and other legal documents
- Deal with complex matters under time pressure
- Conduct work with integrity and responsibility
- Maintain current knowledge of alterations in legislation
Profile required
- Swiss Bar Exam
- Proven experience (minimum 3-5 years post Swiss Bar Exam) as a litigation and arbitration lawyer in Switzerland
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of Swiss civil and criminal law and applicable procedures
- Demonstrated ability to create legal defensive or proactive strategies
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity
- Sound judgement and ability to analyze situations and information
- Very good communication skills
- At ease with clients' facing
- Ability to coach a team of young lawyers
- Entrepreneurship spirit
- Fluent in French and English (German or Russian, a plus)
- Resistant to stress
