The core responsibilities of the Controller are:
- Financial Oversight: Handle monthly and quarterly financial closings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards
- Strategic Business Partnership: Act as a financial advisor to the management team, identifying sales and business improvement opportunities
- Project Financial Management: Provide financial guidance on logistics and customer service projects, covering aspects of finance, tax, and legal concerns
- Inventory and AP Management: Drive optimisation of Net Working Capital, focusing on inventory management and accounts payable strategies
- Performance Analysis: Deliver key financial figures and identify early deviations to guide the management team
- Budget and Forecasting: Oversee the entire budgeting process, from preparation to follow-up, ensuring alignment with business goals
- Expertise in Finance: Solid background in both Accounting and Controlling, with a focus on Supply Chain
- Educational Credentials: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field - Strong preference for CPA or equivalent
- Professional Experience: exposure to a relevant Finance role, demonstrating a track record of success
- Personal Qualities: Autonomous, organized, and proactive with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of IFRS and local GAAP - public accounting experience is a strong benefit
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP - FI/CO, Excel
- Languages: Fluency in French and English
