Your tasks
- Ensure integration of Health, Safety, and Environmental values and standards into all engineering project activities.
- Develop and manage large capital projects using Holcim Standard methods, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to investment decision gates.
- Lead multi-disciplinary engineering development with third parties and ensures: Overseeing CapEx concept development, project documentation, and technical evaluations.
- Manage project budgets from feasibility through to execution, ensuring cost-effective solutions and technical support during construction and commissioning.
- Conduct design safety, operability, and value reviews with stakeholders, and organize formal risk analyses with the Project Manager and Client.
- Facilitate a smooth transition to operations post-handover, prepare AAR processes, and monitor all technical exchanges with engineering teams, procurement, and suppliers.
Your profile
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or process engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Proven engineering coordination experience in the cement or heavy industry; experience in Oil and Gas engineering is a plus.
- Proactive, objective oriented team player with the ability to adapt to different cultures and backgrounds.
- Strong communication skills for effective stakeholder management.
- Willingness to travel 30-40% of the time within Europe, especially in the CEW cluster (Switzerland, Italy, South Germany, and France).
- Fluent in English and advanced in German; knowledge of French or other languages is an additional asset.
