Your role
- Support and development of the packaging and excipient categories on a global level (focus on, but not limited to, primary and secondary packaging material and excipients)
- Observation, analysis and development of new procurement markets
- Elaboration and implementation of strategies and concepts to ensure the availability of products in the right time, quantity and quality
- Identification of procurement risks as well as initiation and implementation of mitigation measures
- Responsible for strategic supplier relationship management
- Initiation and management of projects to improve productivity and achieve savings
- Lead negotiations independently and draft contracts
- Independent preparation of procurement relevant periodic KPI reports
Your profile
- University degree in business, economics or engineering (BA required, MA is an advantage)
- Minimum 3 years of relevant procurement experience
- Experience in an international matrix organization with functional reporting lines is an advantage
- Experience in procurement of packaging material or excipients for pharmaceutical products is an advantage
- Good negotiation skills in dealing with internal customers and external partners
- Assertiveness and a high level of commitment
- Goal-oriented and resilient personality with strong communication skills
- Very good problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
- Quality-conscious way of working and a hands-on mentality
- Business fluent, spoken and written in English (German is an advantage)
