If you have always dreamed of being part of a world-class Cybersecurity team, and you want to be always on the front line defending our customers and our company, heading the Cyber Defence team is the job you should want to have! • Lead the Cyber Defence team, continuously learning and optimizing the relevant processes to ensure any security threats, alerts, events and of course incidents are triaged, managed and mitigated fast
• Continuously enhance security visibility to cover all existing relevant systems, newly established and acquired systems, shadow IT, and cloud assets
• Ensure vulnerabilities are followed up on with the respective teams until they are patched or remediated
• Ensure that all required tools needed for effective Cyber Defence are in place, fit for purpose and properly managed and maintained, including SOC tooling (EDR, SIEM, CSPM etc.)
• Manage and report on major security incidents, collect lessons learned and provide clear direction on how to improve the overall security posture of Sunrise
• Extend and continuously improve advanced Cyber Defence capabilities, like Red Teaming and Threat Intelligence, by leveraging AI (Artificial Intelligence) and agile methods wherever possible
• Help develop, plan and steer our security portfolio, including cost benefit analysis, especially in the area of Cyber Defence

• University degree, Diploma or equivalent qualifications in a relevant field (Security, Computer Science, Engineering etc.)
• >5 years of working experience in the Security domain
• Previous line management experience with a proven empathetic and coaching leadership style
• Experience in the telecommunications industry strongly preferred
• Strong technical knowledge from all relevant Cyber security areas and disciplines, preferably backed up by professional security qualifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CCSP or M.Sc. in Cyber/IT Security)
• The ability to be an effective team player
• Fluent written and spoken English language skills, German language skills are a plus
