Team Lead Automation (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Team Lead Automation (m/f/d) on our biggest production site in Visp, Switzerland. You will be responsible for the planning and execution of automation activities (USP, DSP) for our BioAtrium facility and works in close cooperation with the Heads of USP and DSP. In this leadership function you will plan your direct reports and other resources, as well as recruit, train and develop the automation personnel in collaboration with HR and vendors.
Key responsibilities:
Acting as people manager for a team of automation professionals. Including planning of resources, recruiting, performance management, employee development, succession planning for direct reports
Create, track and maintain the short term schedules to provide visibility to defined departments to drive short term execution of plans
Support the planning and execution of automation activities (USP, DSP, etc.)
Superordinate personnel planning, organization of overtime, including the need for temporary or fixed team changes
Support the CAPEX projects with team for automation activities
Responsible for training needs analysis in the production support area and training plan for production employees
Determine staffing requirements: Using a preview, create a plan for the utilization of projects over a period of one year
Support USP and DSP in the preparation and follow-up of automation activities
Key Requirements:
Absolved Bachelor or Master studies, preferably in chemistry and chemical engineering or chemical and pharmaceutical technology
Significant experience with MES und DeltaV
Significant experience leading teams and transferring Know-how within the team
Ability to recognize and rectify risks in relation to security or compliance / GMP, as well as developing operational optimization potential
Experience in implementing assigned measures, to optimize security, costs or operational processes
Fluency in German and English is required
