The AO Foundation is a medically guided, nonprofit organization led by an international group of surgeons specialized in the treatment of trauma and disorders of the musculoskeletal system. Founded in 1958 by a group of visionary surgeons, today, the AO has a global network of 200,000 health care professionals. Each year it offers over 830 educational events around the world, which are supported by nearly 9,000 faculty and are attended by over 58,000 participants. It has 20,000 surgeon members working in the fields of trauma, spine, craniomaxillofacial (CMF), veterinary, and reconstructive surgery. We are looking for a highly motivated personality for our office in Davos as a Project Manager Events

 In this role you will be responsible for:

- Event management and consulting: organization and implementation of international events including exhibitions, retreats, external and internal congresses
- Managing internal events: jazz concert, visitor groups and open-door days
- Part of Davos Courses and Trustees Meeting event team's: responsible for coordinating side meetings, registration, partner programs, reimbursements, IC Invoicing
- Support a variety of other AO events throughout the year as required
- Event marketing and consistent brand promotion
- Manage merchandising task force

To master this challenge, you have:

- A Bachelor or Masters degree
- A minimum of five years professional event manager experience in similar positions, both client and/or agency side experience acceptable
- Proven experience of producing complex events with multiple stakeholders
- Excellent event problem-solving skills
- Project and process management skills
- Influencing and networking abilities
- Strong communication skills in both English and German
- Familiarity within a cross-cultural/-discipline working environment
- Excellent organizational skills
- High adaptability, flexibility and attention to detail
