In this position within the Group HR Organization Development & HR Strategy team, the Future of Work Learning Lead will be responsible for leading a culture of continuous learning and development to enable employees to respond to future workforce requirements and be ready for the changing demands of the business. In addition to ensuring access to cutting edge content that meets future skill requirements, this role will be partner with other learning groups in the company to ensure we are leveraging development opportunities in Zurich's business groups and functions through strong networks and relationships across the firm.

 

 


Your Role

 

 

 

As a Future of Work Learning Lead your main responsibilities will involve: 

 

  • Partner closely with Organization Design colleagues to understand and leverage workforce and learning management systems diagnostic findings to determine learning needs

  • Ensuring alignment and synergies with the global Learning strategy through fostering a close partnership and matrix reporting line into the Global Integrated Talent Management team

  • Shaping and iterating the Group's upskilling/reskilling/rightskilling strategy and global priorities

  • Leading the development of upskilling/reskilling/right skilling solutions for Zurich's workforce in order to ensure liefelong learning and thus future workforce capabilities

  • Strengthening existing partnerships with external parties to co-create upskilling, reskilling and learning solutions for the workforce of the future, and build new partnerships to bring external best practice thinking into Zurich

  • Developing innovative learning approaches and solutions that are digitally enabled and data driven

  • Program managing global learning projects to roll-out workforce in transition initiatives

  • Working collaboratively across various functions (business and HR) in order to maximize alignment from idea generation to solution development

  • Collaborating with key global stakeholders in- and outside HR to drive informed decision making and to shape the short-, medium- and long term roadmap

  • Creating a detailed milestone plan, budget and progress tracking for all upskilling/reskilling related initiatives

  • Researching external and internal best practices to determine our approach

 


Your Skills and Experience

 

As a Future of Work Learning Lead your skills and qualifications will ideally include: 

  • Bachelor's degree; MBA preferred

  • Minimum of 10+ years of work experience preferred (5+ years in management), with a strong background in learning strategy, innovation, technology / digital solutions

  • Experience and successful track record in leading learning and development at large/complex organizations

  • Exceptional leadership skills, including the ability to motivate, influence and persuade across all levels of the organization

  • Strong track record leading and executing on cross-functional projects

  • Ability to get up to speed quickly and leverage existing learning and development propositions

  • Strong ability to build and maintain strong partnerships and collaborate throughout the organization and stay connected with all areas of the business

  • Proven track record with analytical ability including the skill to dig deep into detail while retaining a broad view perspective

  • Exceptional communication skills

  • Creative thinker, with a bias to action and ability to balance a practical approach innovative thinking

  • Ability to develop, execute and adjust a plan to achieve long-term and short-term results while managing multiple priorities and business partners

  • Proven ability to conceptualize and execute on a given strategy

  • Demonstrated ability to connect business deliverables with enterprise objectives and strategy

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
