Learning to read is the focus here at Active English Club!

From our ABC beginners to creative writing, and everything in between. It begins with trying to inspire a love of books and make learning English fun and attainable. We promote active learning through a combination of games, group work, and individual instruction.

If you are full of energy and great ideas, if you are a born optimist with experience in early childhood education, if you want to do something meaningful every day, then you should join us!

Get in touch if you…

• Enjoy working with children ages 4 - 11

• Are a native English speaker or equivalent C2 level. Knowledge of French is a plus!

• Have a Swiss work permit or are in the process of receiving one or are from an EU country.

• Have prior experience teaching 4-years children and older.

• Are self-motivated and organised.

• Enjoy being surrounded by different languages and cultures.

* Foreign candidates recognized by the DGEO and in possession of the “Authorisation d’Enseigner” will receive preferential consideration.

We are hiring an English teacher for native and non-native English speakers. We offer classes after school (and Wednesdays) following the Vaud public school schedule.
