As of May 1, 2024 or upon agreement a temporary position is to be filled in the Robert K. Schenk
Laboratory for Oral Histology of the Department of Periodontology of the zmk bern.
Your area of responsibility
Your work includes all laboratory, organizational, and administrative tasks that arise in the context of carrying
out research projects in translational (applied) dental medicine, with a focus on tissue regeneration and
biomaterials. This includes, among other things:
- Histological processing (Embedding, cutting, staining)
- Microphotography and digital image processing
- Independent implementation, documentation and evaluation of experiments as part of the laboratory's
own research projects - Organization and implementation of the ordering system
Your profile
- Completed training as a biology or medical laboratory technician
- Very good experience in histology
- Good oral and written knowledge in German (good English skills is a bonus)
- Independent, precise and responsible way of working
- Ability to work in a team, organizational skills and good communication
- Interest in applied research
