As a Product Engineer you will have different roles, you will be starting out in the role of a Product Tester. It will be your task to validate that the implemented features solve the identified market problems according to the defined use cases. You will also be responsible for ensuring an optimal quality of the software, conducting test round testing on time, writing and updating test plans and clearly describing found defects.



We are looking for an experienced
Product Engineer for Surveying Field Software (f/m)
Your main tasks include:

Test the Surveying Field Software, report found problems in clear detail and get a very good understanding of the software
Write User Stories and Specification for new features, work with the software development group on getting them implemented and get a very good understanding of the market and the market requirements
Observe and learn about the market and work closely with Product Managers and Project Leaders to understand the value of your scrum teams backlog and the consequences of delays
Create new user stories, plan the scrum team backlog, help with the release planning.
Exchange constantly with other Product Owners in the organization and with Software Stakeholders
Your profile:

Bachelor's Degree in Surveying or Civil Engineering
Experience of working in the Surveying/Engineering industry
Fluent in English
Product Skills - Able to understand the technical aspects of a product
Analytical and Organizational Skills - Able to analyse the given restraints and needs for the scheduled workload and timeline and organize the needed tasks in a way that allows for the most valuable outcome.
Market Skills - Empathy for real customers and experience in quantifying value. Able to comprehend the market problems that drive the content and timeline of scheduled software tasks and, if needed, reorder tasks accordingly.
Interpersonal Skills - Able to build strong rapport and relationships with R&D, project core teams, project lead and fellow product owners to gain in-depth understanding of technical challenges and constraints.
Process Skills - Profound agile experience as a product owner. Able to understand and follow processes and understand process requirements. Able to challenge processes and propose and initiate process improvements.
Communication/Negotiation Skills - Be able to explain and justify the team and sprint backlog. Manage to challenge input from the outside to keep interruptions to a minimum. Negotiate best solutions for the different priorities and goals.

Product Engineer for Surveying Software (f/m)

HEERBRUGG (Switzerland)



to help maximize the value of our products, resulting from the work of our development teams.

Product Engineering has different roles. Your starting role will be a Product Tester, and your Task isto validate that the implemented features solve the identified market problems according to the defined use cases. You will also be responsible for ensuring an optimal quality of the software, conducting test round testing on time, writing and updating test plans and clearly describing found defects.



As the Product Engineer you will have different roles, starting out in the role of a Product Tester. It will be your task to validate that the implemented features solve the identified market problems according to the defined use cases. You will also be responsible for ensuring an optimal quality of the software, conducting test round testing on time, writing and updating test plans and clearly describing found defects.



With some experience as a Product Tester and Product Specialist, you will also move into the role of Product Owner where you will require considerable process expertise, a technical understanding for the products and the ability to understand the value behind the decisions made with regards to prioritization. You will also need to understand the product road map and the project master planning, and the priorities derived from them.



You will need to work closely with Product Managers and will be responsible that stakeholders are updated on all relevant matters with regards to changes in release timeline or content.
