About the role
As an Accounts Clerk, you will be managing both accounts payable and receivable functions. Your role will be crucial in ensuring compliance with Australian accounting standards and taxation laws, while also adhering to our company policies. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to implement effective financial processes and ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial data.
What you will do:
- Accounts Payable & Procurement: Timely invoice processing, payment runs, vendor query resolution, bank balance management, and leveraging technology for efficiency.
- Travel and Expense Management: Processing employee travel, expense claims and managing corporate card programs.
- Accounts Receivable: Allocating customer cash receipts, monitoring AR aging reports, resolving discrepancies, and managing customer credit limits.
- Intercompany Transactions & Master Data: Managing intercompany recharges, ensuring accurate intercompany balances, maintaining supplier and customer profiles, and supporting month-end and year-end financial activities.
What we’re seeking in you:
- 4 years of bookkeeping/accounting clerical experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office programs (particularly Excel).
- Experience in full-function accounts payable and receivable duties.
- Experience in a multinational company is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong task prioritisation skills.
