As part of our R&D development centre, we are looking for a Development Release and Integration Manager (m/f/d). This job requires very good communication and networking skills, and the ability to work with different teams across the R&D teams in Switzerland, Poland and India, and to ensure that the software development, integration and test is on track.
- Tracking of Development Features: Establish project specific feature tracking, to track the progress of features related to a number of projects. Use JIRA/ Confluence to setup and maintain an online status of the features.
- Coordinate Software Integration for key projects: Own and maintain the software integration plan for key projects. Establish a list of all components required for the integration per project; organise the equipment and ensure the setup is available in time.
- Run Regular Status Meetings: Run weekly status meetings with the relevant development teams and test managers. Work with the test managers assigned to the projects, to identify gaps in the deliverables, which are flagged to the development Scrum teams and the development managers. Issue status reports to the R&D and project leaders.
- Manage Solution Quality Checkpoints for Project: Run formal checkpoint meetings with all involved development teams and the relevant technical project managers. Prepare the quality checkpoints by preparing a problem report and quality statistics
- Maintain Bug Lists: Maintain a prioritized list of the relevant bugs per projects, share the list with the development Scrum teams
- Support On Site Integration: Support the customer engineering team for on site integration and acceptance test, where time allows.
- Cost and Budget Tracking: Based on the software status per team, run cost to complete analysis and update the cost and budgets per project to the Finance team.
- Degree in Computer Sciences or Telecommunications; BSc or MSc.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in complex software integration and delivery projects.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in software test
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
- Ability to travel to sites world wide
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ideally several years' experience in public transport; familiar with standard terms used
