We are looking for a fluent English and German speaking person to join our international team in Schwerzenbach, Canton of Zurich as
Research & Development Engineer (100%)
Start date: 01. May 2024 or as agreed
Your tasks:
- Act as leading engineer in R&D projects, directly reporting to the Head of Technology
- Perform new system and product design for the worldwide construction industry.
- Provide technical support for international projects such as post-tensioning, stay cables, as well as maintenance, repairing and retrofitting of existing structures.
- Carry on from small to large scale tests on international laboratories with focus in Europe.
- Elaborate precise documentation be for obtaining technical approvals.
- Represent and promote the company in international conferences and congresses.
- Participate in international technical committees for new standards or guidelines in the business field of company.
Your profile:
- M.Sc Eng. or PhD in civil / structural engineering, mechanical engineering, material science
- Ideally having international experience in R&D projects
- Strong innovation insight with business flavor for commercial products
- Good knowledge of FEA (mainly ABAQUS)
- Fluent English (oral and written), German knowledge is a plus.
- Track record on skills of reporting and writing technical documentation, as well as of presentations.
- Team player, both internally and externally working with the global network
- Willingness to travel
