Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and motivated Security Engineer to join the team in Zug, Switzerland. As a Network Security Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing security solutions for clients. From conducting risk assessments to deploying advanced security technologies, you will be at the forefront of protecting our clients’ digital assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their security requirements and develop customised solutions.
- Conduct security assessments and penetration tests to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate risks.
- Design and implement security architectures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols.
- Monitor systems for security breaches and respond promptly to security incidents.
- Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats and technologies to ensure our solutions remain effective and up to date.
- Provide expert guidance and support to clients on security best practices and compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on network security, penetration testing, and security architecture design.
- Strong knowledge of security principles, protocols, and technologies, including but not limited to SIEM, IDS/IPS, VPN, and encryption.
- Experience with industry-standard security tools and software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with clients at all levels.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CISM are a plus.
- Strong German and English language skills
