Senior HR Associate - Employee Lifecycle, Compensation and Benefits

The Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) is searching for an experienced employee lifecycle, payroll and benefits professional to join the HR team in Geneva as a Senior Associate. This is a maternity cover role and is offered on an 8 month, fixed term contract basis.


Working as a key member of the HR team, the Senior HR Associate will provide an effective and comprehensive HR service to managers and employees. This role will have a strong focus on the areas of employee lifecycle, compensation and benefits for GAIN staff based both in Switzerland and our global office network. Particular responsibilities include;


  • Manage and review employee benefits for staff across a range of country offices, including insurances as well as those stipulated by local employment legislation.
  • Manage the entire Geneva payroll in collaboration with the payroll provider (including complex payroll cases)
  • Solely responsible for all HR administration related to the Geneva office (communications, invoices, enrolments, entry, exits, work permits, follow-up)
  • Administrator of the HRIS to include overseeing the system from the front to the back office, ensuring data accuracy andcustomizing and extracting reports and charts

Candidates for this position must have solid HR experience with a focus on the employee lifecycle. Experience of managing Swiss payroll is essntial, with additional international payroll experience a distinct advantage. It goes without saying that you will also have a broader HR generalist background and be well versed in working within a multi-national, multi-cultural environment.

Profil minimum requis :
  • Batchelor’s Degree in Business or Human Resource Management
