As a Quality Management Trainee (Start:May or June) in the EAME Regional Innovation team, you will finalize the implementation of a quality management system ensuring the food safety of products manufactured in the Sweet goods and Dairy (SG&D) pilot plants located in Kemptthal, Zürich. This is a unique opportunity to complete a quality management system, which shall also be implementable and applicable for a small scale production unit.
Continue the development, implementation, and up keep of the Regional Innovation SG&D application Quality Management System
Update and document the protocols for the systematic control for critical process
Review / Develop operator in-process quality checks for various processes
Participate to the development of internal standards and control methods to minimise non-conformances with Critical Control Points
Co-organize trainings for the SG&D application team members on the Quality Management System
On top of the development of a Quality Management System, you will have the opportunity to evaluate the food safety of very innovative sweet goods and dairy recipes and prototypes.

• Project Management & Innovation: you will be supported in the use of project management techniques for the implementation of a quality management system enabling future marketing initiatives and train our application teams on our new ways of working

Your professional profile includes:
Min. Bachelor’s Degree in food science/technology with specialization in food safety, food quality or similar education
Practical experience in food manufacturing
Used to working hands-on in a laboratory and industrial pilot environment
Skilled in Microsoft office based programs with emphasis on Excel, Power Point and Word
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proactive personality and strong in dealing with ambiguity
Fluent in English (spoken and written), German is an asset (any other European language is a plus)
