GF Internal Audit (GFIA) supports the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee in corporate financial management. Internal Audit acts independently and reports directly to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors. Organizationally the department is integrated within the Corporate Center Finance and Controlling.

Senior Data Analyst (100%), f/m/d
You will be located in Schaffhausen, Switzerland and working in GF's Internal Audit department. Reporting line is to the Head of Internal Audit. Your responsibilities are:
Based on a thorough understanding of GF's business processes, defining and designing data collection and analysis processes primarily as part of GF's Internal Audit function.
Becoming a trusted advisor and partner for the internal audit team through developing data analytics based on walkthroughs conducted with the audit team to understand their requirements.
Gathering, identifying, organizing and visualizing data relevant for internal audit and in-house consulting engagements to support tailored risk and scope identification.
Conducting exploratory data analyses (EDA) by using statistical methods to identify potential trends and insights in data as well as facilitating GF's Internal Audit activities.
Developing, automating and integrating data analysis processes primarily for GF's Internal Audit purposes as well as identifying and facilitating operational excellence potential / value adding services for all stakeholders across all three Divisions within GF.
Supporting the Audit Committee, the Board of Directors and Corporate Management in terms of identification, evaluation and assessment of internal as well as external risks in cooperation with GF Corporate Risk Management.
Your profile & qualifications
College or University degree in, Computer Science, Maths, Economics, Applied Statistics, Engineering or related fields.
Minimum of 5 years of data analytics and detailed SAP understanding (structure and processes).
Experience in an industrial company dealing with internal audit, business analytics, data analyses or similar.
Sound experience with statistical techniques including data collection, sampling, statistical testing, correlation, regression, time series analysis, survival analysis parametric and non-parametric data, design of experiments and data visualization required.
Sound experience with data analysis and BI tools such as ACL, IDEA, Tableau, Power BI etc.
Strong communication, analytical and deductive reasoning.
Ability to communicate to (Senior) Management on equal footing.
Strong oral and written communication skills, proficiency in English (German is a plus)
Willingness to travel up to approx. 20% to support audit field work.
