In this role you will provide support on the CE Hub across Platform Service, Development and Operations, in line with functional and cross-functional needs. The CE Hub (Crop Environmental Hub) is a key data platform enabling exposition of environmental/weather raw and derived datasets in various ways to any systems and users globally. The CE Hub is part of the Environmental and Agronomic Data Platforms which is accountable for delivering enterprise shared services that are used to ingest, store, transform and expose external raw or internally transformed structured and unstructured datasets which enable analytics insights and empower digital solutions for the benefit of end-users (growers and research and development group).
Accountabilities: As part of this role you will be: - Providing data domain consulting to customers on environmental/weather datasets - Exploring, analyzing and evaluating new environmental datasets for the platform - Delivering any new or continuous improvements of the platform features: creating, modifying or sustaining the platform functional and/or technological landscape in line with agile methodology and along with engineering teams - Owning and executing the defined platform service model - Managing directly or indirectly business stakeholders and technologies having a dependency with the platform content and/or usage, and educating workforces about this platform usage and underlying technologies - Collaborating with the platform manager in supporting, directing, coaching and developing stakeholder community therefore ensuring the platform adoption and fulfilment of business needs - Collaborating with the platform manager to define a roadmap for the platform area and to design new developments and continuous improvements
Education/experience: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT or other related field or relevant equivalent working experience - 3+ years working experience in relevant field - Extensive data analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate various datasets with attention to detail and accuracy - Extensive knowledge about current best practices in service delivery - Extensive knowledge about databases & SQL for big spatial-temporal data - Extensive knowledge about current best practices in data management - Good knowledge about data visualization with software such as Spotfire, PowerBI - Good knowledge about project management - Good knowledge about delivery concepts such as DevOps and Agile - Good knowledge about programming skills such as Python, R, C# - Good knowledge about project management - Exposure in environmental/weather data domain is a strong plus - Exposure in agriculture and biology domain is a plus
