Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive implementation strategy for IT Service Management, focusing on governance frameworks, compliance protocols, and performance metrics.
- Governance Frameworks: Implement and enhance IT governance frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL, or other relevant standards to optimize IT operations, risk management, and resource allocation.
- Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies across all IT processes and systems. Implement mechanisms for monitoring and reporting compliance metrics.
- Performance Management: Establish performance metrics, KPIs, and service level agreements (SLAs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of IT services. Implement monitoring tools and processes to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Change Management: Lead change management initiatives to foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the IT organization. Drive awareness, training, and communication programs to facilitate smooth transitions and adoption of new processes.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure alignment of IT services with business objectives, contractual obligations, and service level expectations.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential vulnerabilities, security threats, and compliance risks within the IT environment.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization to gain buy-in, support, and alignment for IT governance, compliance, and performance management initiatives.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of IT policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks. Generate regular reports and presentations to communicate progress, challenges, and recommendations to senior management.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Certified in IT governance, compliance, or related disciplines (e.g., COBIT, ITIL, CISA, CGEIT, CRISC).
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in IT governance, compliance, and performance management, preferably within multinational organizations.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices in IT governance and compliance (e.g., GDPR, SOX, PCI-DSS).
- Proficiency in project management methodologies, change management principles, and risk assessment frameworks.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and cultures.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a track record of successfully leading complex IT initiatives from conception to implementation.
- Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Flexibility to travel and work across different time zones, as required.
- Solid knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in digital transformation & IT
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to think creatively to overcome obstacles
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, engaging with stakeholders at all levels, from clients to C-suite executives (English required).
- Experience in change management and stakeholder engagement, with multicultural awareness.
- Strong business judgment and intellectual maturity, crafting solutions that balance risk and business objectives.
- Fluent English required. German and multilingual is a plus.
