To drive our continuous organic growth, we are constantly looking for highly qualified professionals. To strengthen our team in the Global IT Department, we are looking for a Head of SAP Competence Center (f/m/d), 100%.
As the Head of SAP Competence Center, you will be at the forefront of driving technological excellence within our organization. In this global role reporting to the Head of Operations IT, you will oversee all strategic and operational aspects of SAP application management, SAP landscape management, team and talent management, vendor management, and cost management. The role is instrumental in shaping our IT landscape, ensuring alignment with business goals, fostering innovation, and delivering impactful solutions.
Your tasks:
- Collaborate with the business units and IT leadership to identify opportunities to leverage the existing SAP landscape to enhance operational efficiency and support business growth.
- Collaborate with business units to manage their demand, understand their requirements, ensure prioritization, and align solutions with business needs.
- Advise the business units, provide insights on how the SAP landscape can drive business innovation and competitive advantage.
- Enforce compliance with established processes for IT service management and computer system validation during application development, maintenance, and support.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and business SMEs to ensure SAP projects deliver the expected value.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Evaluate, select, and manage third-party vendors and partners with the support of IT Operational Excellence and GRC.
- Manage the SAP applications budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficient resource allocation.
Your profile:
- Degree in Information Technology, Business Management or a related field.
- Proven experience in a leadership role overseeing SAP applications and projects.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Leadership: Inspire and guide teams towards achieving strategic objectives.
- Communication: Articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Address challenges with innovative and effective solutions.
