Impact Data Analyst

We are seeking to recruit an Impact Data Analyst for our Thematic Equities team to help further develop industry-leading thematic impact measurement tools. The successful candidate will work closely with our Thematic Impact and Thematic Investment teams.
- Working with teams across the organisation to develop the models, tools and data underlying our thematic investment process, and ensuring they are kept up to date.
- Ensuring a strong link between bottom-up company fundamentals and top-down modelling.
- Helping the growth of institutional client solutions through advanced reporting.
- Providing tools, support and training for investment teams and external stakeholders.
- Developing and maintaining insightful and user-friendly Tableau dashboards for our investment teams.
- Developing insightful data visualisations for our sustainability reports and thematic product presentations.
- Attending ad-hoc client meetings as subject matter expert.
- Acting as a interface between IT, AI Analytics and the Thematic Equities team.
- Managing projects, taking ownership and driving them to successful completion.
- An MSc or PhD preferably in the field of science or engineering.
- Good understanding of LCA and EIO (EEMRIO) concepts and associated modelling.
- Experience with Python, Data Science packages (e.g. pandas, SciPy) and relational database programming (SQL).
- An affinity to fundamental company analysis.
- Strong communication skills; Fluent in English (native or equivalent a plus).
- Passion for data visualisation; experience with Tableau a plus.
- Must have an interest in sustainability and the equity market.
- Previous exposure to statistical modelling, machine learning or NLP a plus.
- Must be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate.
