Intern Sustainability Transformation (100%)

To support our Sustainability Team we are looking for an

INTERN SUSTAINABILITY TRANSFORMATION (100%)

Duration: 6 months (option for contract extension or permanent position)

Start: June 2024

In the context of transforming our organization from "Sustainability as a silo" to "Sustainability is everyone's business" the Intern Sustainability Transformation will play a key role in engaging and upskilling our teams globally to help transform our day-to-day approach. The role is transversal, working very closely with diverse IWC teams in HQ, the Manufakturzentrum, and across the world.

YOUR MISSON AT IWC.

Internal Communication

  • Together with our external partner and the Sustainability Manager you lead the development of a sustainability-related communication plan and strategy/positioning to transform our people's thinking and perception of sustainability with the overall target to make sustainability everyone's business in close alignment with the People Experience team.
  • Act as the connecting link with our external partner in finding the right "tone of voice" in alignment with our Brand Essence and our Employer Branding to translate complex sustainability topics into the organization.
  • Develop easy storytelling for our Boutique staff to integrate into selling ceremony.
  • Planning, development, and implementation of communication and marketing activities around Sustainability to increase internal awareness through all available channels (Intranet, Townhalls, display, etc.)
  • Support our regional teams in building and implementing their Regional Sustainability Roadmaps in accordance with our Strategy.
  • Push possible, necessary changes and adaptations with the Executive Committee and keep track of progress to regularly report and adapt strategy if needed.

Sustainability L&D and Sustainability Champions Program

  • Lead the development and outlining of a Sustainability L&D and Champions Program to further push the cultural change and transformation in close alignment with the People Office.
  • Define the right academic partner for IWC's L&D / Sustainability Champion Program.
  • Design and lead a champions program with which the strategy can be brought into the organization.

Single Point of Contact

  • Be the single point of contact for all sustainability-related questions and requests internally and externally and coordinate with respective departments and the sustainability team for timely answers and responses.
  • Full ownership of Write an email.
  • Lead the sustainability intro for our new employees.

HOW YOU BECOME PART OF OUR JOURNEY.

  • Master's degree and first experience in the area of communication and/or marketing.
  • First experience and expertise in leading projects and understanding change projects.
  • Knowledge of Sustainability concepts and approaches a plus.
  • Skills in writing and editing in English and German.
  • Fluency in English, German preferred and French is a plus.
  • Creative mindset combined with strong project management skills and the ability to manage and prioritize various information and tasks.
  • Hands-on personality that is used to working independently and flexibly and has a strong business acumen.
