Techniker Epitaxy (m-w)
- You will maintain our state-of-the-art vapor phase epitaxy systems. This includes hands-on work as well as data analysis to monitor system health and maximize uptime.
- You will carry out mechanical work from the maintenance of vacuum systems and high-purity gas installations to the development and implementation of system modifications, sometimes with heavy breathing protection.
- You will supervise the control of the systems and maintain electrical and electronic components.
- You will carry out measurement activities in the collection and evaluation of the system data.
- You will be responsible for infrastructure directly related to the functionality of the epitaxy systems.
- You will contribute to the continuous improvement of the area.
- Optimization and creation of workflows in cooperation with operators, technicians and process engineers.
Your profile
- You have successfully completed technical vocational training as an automation engineer, electronics technician, precision mechanic, physical or chemical laboratory assistant (or comparable training) and have gained at least five years of work experience in a technical-physical or research environment.
- You are enthusiastic and willing to familiarize yourself on-the-job with a chemical-physical background, vacuum technology, PC control of systems and manufacturing processes for semiconductor production.
- You are curious, enjoy new things and are enthusiastic about technology and physics. You are ready to work in 2 shifts.
- You communicate orally and in writing in German and English at all levels of the organization.
