The role is a full-time, permanent position.
YOUR MISSION
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Leadership of the Head Office Global Technical Services (GTS) team of Engineers and Application Specialists and Technical Support Specialists
- Develop, implement and maintain the GTS offering and cascade to the Regional Technical Services Teams in EU, US, LATAM, APAC, and MEA.
- Establish and maintain operational and service products that are consistent with the overall corporate service strategy.
- Serve as the primary liaison to R&D, QA, and Product Management on product serviceability issues and projects to improve reliability related to field activity.
- Perform routine travel to customers and with Field Service and Sales personnel to drive continuous improvements and create new growth opportunities.
- Manage key suppliers of instrument and spare parts services.
YOUR COMPETENCIES
- Experience of managing a global field service organization.
- Experience of being a Field Service Engineer or Field Application Specialist in the IVD or Medical Device industry.
- Ability to implement, maintain and improve robust service processes to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Experience in influencing, developing and motivating people from diverse backgrounds; able to lead cross-functional global teams.
