Detail Online  is a Swedish SaaS business established in 2015, built to help brands and businesses to audit e-commerce websites and marketplaces all over the world - to follow if and how products and services are exposed online and to notify on issues and opportunities found. This to be able to maximise sales in e-commerce and to increase market share. The service can simplified be compared to a “Mystery Shopper” online, auditing e-commerce sites for similar metrics as brands have done in physical stores since the beginning of time, but this time it’s automated and runs 24/7 in every corner of the world at the same time, where our“spiders” read and speak every language they come across.

We have rapidly grown with global brands as prime customers, and are today delivering services in 60 countries, helping some of the world’s largest companies and strongest consumer brands to embrace the online landscape. The tech-stack is built on Microsoft Azure, where the service is made available to the customers via our user-friendly dashboard on desktop and mobile.

OurHQ is located in Stockholm (Sweden) and the technology center is located in Davao (Philippines). Present day weemploy 55 persons, rising each month. The goal is set to become the global market leader within online audits and merchandising, and to increase the revenue with + 2000% in 5 years. To achieve set targets, we are now employing 4 regional Business Development Directors all over the world to take lead of our key markets, whereof Central Europe is one. We aim for placement in of this position in Zurich (Switzerland) for best connection to the targeted markets, which beside Switzerland also include Germany, France and Italy as prime markets to initially approach in the region. 

You will drive sales both directly and indirectly together with our well-established local partners which is CPM including their sister companies, locally and globally.  Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who have an in-depth understanding of successful retail, from a bricks-and-mortar as well as an e-commerce perspective. You have a proven track record of generating sales on senior level from the ground up, building and managing B2B Key Accounts and preferably also helping others to achieve the same. Specific experience from sales and project management of SaaS or other IT-related services is a clear benefit. Co-sales with our partners will be a big part of the job, so experience from sales via partners or resellers will help a lot. 

Beside the commercial aspect in the job, you will become Detail’s product specialist in your market why it’s important that you find Cloud technology, Software, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence fun and interesting so you are able to learn and inspire others about our amazing technology. 

Language wise we believe you are multilingual and speak and read English, French, German and Italian for best success in all these countries.

This is your primary target:

You will be responsible to build, manage and support all sales channels – including partners, their customers and Detail direct customers – to gain, retain and grow the monthly recurring revenue in the region up to and beyond targeted levels.

This is your role and responsibilities:


  • Careful exploration of the market for relevant lead generation
  • Pre-sales activities to ensure relevance for prospects to meet (via our pre-sales team)
  • Direct sales to targeted industries and businesses to build pipeline and win customers
  • Set and support go-to-market plans with our partners locally
  • Co-sales with partners, and support to partners
  • Key Account Management of selected customers to retain and grow the business
  • Real time reporting and business forecasting

Over all, establish and manage strong sales function and provide sales leadership for the region. 

Initially the Business Development Director will be working solo in the region representing Detail with customers and partners. You will have all the support you need from ourpresentoffices and when you have gained a base of local Key Accounts in your region, we will hire a local world class team to support you and Detail to next level, and next…
