We are looking for a :


About the role

The Learning Manager role is to design and develop learning experiences that support EHL’s digital education strategy. The goal is to facilitate students/learners – including but not limited to those in an online environment - in acquiring knowledge, skills and competencies in an effective and appealing manner related to operational content in the hospitality industry (F&B and rooms).

Your responsibilities

  • Help define learning needs and requirements in collaboration with the course leader, by organizing meetings, defining learning objectives, and specifying a course roadmap for the creation of the course ;
  • Define the structure of online assets, under the supervision of the Practical Arts manager in charge ;
  • Build the interface between all involved stakeholders to create the online course (i.e. digital designer, course lecturers, IT department) ;
  • Assist in the students learning journey by providing timely feedback and answering their questions ;
  • Provide live support to students during live online sessions and moderate course discussion forums ;
  • Collect, review, and improve existing learning materials ;
  • Monitor course materials to ensure they are effective and up-to-date ;
  • Manage communications tools supporting the online courses.

About you

  • BSc degree in hospitality or any closely related area ;
  • Previous work experience in hospitality operations (i.e. F&B, rooms division) ;
  • Experience with online learning, development or education related to hospitality is a plus ;
  • Good command of English, French ;
  • Service and customer oriented mindset ;
  • High personal drive and accountability ;
  • Demonstrated commitment to supporting student learning.
