Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Manager
About the AP/AR Manager Role Our client is seeking a Team Leader for Accounts Receivable and Payable. The role, part of the Finance & Accounting team, is suited for a leader focused on efficient financial operations in sustainable and renewable technologies.
The company is a growing multinational engineering company based in the north of Zurich.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a small AR/AP team, managing both technical and personnel aspects.
- Oversee daily financial operations in coordination with the Finance Shared Service Center, aiming for process enhancement.
- Manage balance sheet account reconciliation and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance and accurate application of processes in OTC and PTP areas, including ICS compliance.
- Assist in weekly cash forecasts and monthly financial statement preparation, adhering to IFRS and OR standards.
- Participate in system implementation and process improvement projects.
Qualifications:
- Degree in finance and accounting, ideally with initial leadership experience
- Minimum of 2-3 years in Accounts payable and another 2-3 years in Accounts receivable accounting, preferably in a Swiss-registered company.
- Proficient in SAP FI/CO, VAT regulations (Swiss focus), and strong MS Office skills, especially Excel.
- Fluent in English with advanced German (min. B1), with excellent numerical skills, a hands-on approach, and the ability to handle challenges in a calm way.
