At Roche Services & Solutions (RSS) Performance Management (PM), we're dedicated to driving the financial and operational prowess of RSS. Our diverse & global team is instrumental in transforming data into actionable insights, specifically tailored to enhance the organisation’s strategic objectives and operational efficiency. About the job
As an intern in our Performance Management (PM) team in the Roche Services & Solutions (RSS), you support the overall PM team by providing relevant data and information to support processes, challenge the status quo and continuously improve how we serve the business. You help maintain robust financial reporting systems, processes and financial controls to ensure integrity and reliability of financial statements and information, in support of the RSS Business Partners and the RSS Business. You are driven by the goal to provide outstanding service to business finance and business functions embracing an agile mindset.
Your main responsibilities will include to:
provide functional and standard management reporting
ensure consistent and high-quality master data
ensure globally aligned and consistent processes across RSS sites, while continuously looking for ways to improve them and increase their efficiency
support local month end process for RSS locations
assist in the preparation of financial reports, presentations, and documentation
contribute to the optimization of financial processes and systems
collaborate with senior finance professionals to learn and apply financial principles and best practices
Who you are
Currently enrolled in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics and completed at least 2 years of university. Alternatively, you graduated within 12 months prior the start date
You have a good understanding of finance and accounting concepts, processes and systems and first experience with systems: SAP, Business Warehouse, Advanced Excel and proficient in other MS office tools, Advanced gSheet and proficient in other gSuite tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail
Proficiency in English

In addition, you are:
analytical and well-organized
able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
excellent in communication and you have great interpersonal skills

and if you bring experience in developing, maintaining and improving reporting platforms, then this is considered a plus!
Due to regulations Non-EU/EFTA citizens must provide a certificate from the university stating that an internship is mandatory as part of the application documents. Furthermore, they need to be enrolled during the entire duration of the internship.
