The Regional CTO plays an integral role in the region’s strategic direction, development, and future growth. This role is responsible for establishing technical vision, leading all aspects of technology development and is an evangelist to internal/external customers as well as Mondelez Digital Services (MDS).
This person is a creative, resourceful, polished professional with an extensive knowledge of voice, data, network, and applications technology and how they relate to the marketplace.
The Regional CTO is strategic in nature and must understand the upstream and downstream impacts on processes, training, and resources. The primary job focus is long-term and big picture, yet deep technical knowledge of all relevant teams must be maintained.
Essential Functions
Provide strategic technology guidance: Leads the execution of technology strategy for the Region. Collaborate with the executive leadership team to understand organizational goals and identify technology solutions to drive business growth and enhance operational efficiency.
Develop and execute technology roadmaps: Defines engagement requirements - develops practice methodologies and deliverables for successful integration of key technology components. Create and implement a strategic technology plan aligned with business objectives, ensuring scalability, security, and optimization of technology infrastructure.
Lead the technology team: Oversee and mentor our regional technology team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development, including all aspects of performance management. Provide guidance and feedback on technology projects to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
Ensure security and compliance: Implement and maintain robust security measures, data protection protocols, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
Support M&A activities: Provide technical due diligence and post-acquisition support for technology integration/resource planning as part of ongoing M&A activities.
Stakeholder communication: Effectively communicate complex technology concepts to non-technical stakeholders, building relationships, and alignment across departments.
Assess and mitigate risks: Conduct risk assessments, identify potential technology vulnerabilities, and develop contingency plans to prevent disruptions and minimize risks.

Additional Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Intimate knowledge and management of the pre-sale workflow and awareness of all major client engagements.
Provides visible leadership for the region within the technology community.
Anticipates and guides team to prepare for major technology changes to ensure regional team leadership in the competitive landscape.
Reporting and senior administrative duties as required to help run the regions’ business.
Qualifications:
A college degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or other relative discipline (or equivalent work experience)
15+ years of industry experience. And 7+ years of progressive experience in senior technology leadership roles, with a track record of successfully leading and mentoring technology teams fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
Expertise in technology strategy and implementation: Comprehensive understanding of technology trends, infrastructure management, software development methodologies, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and compliance.
Strong business acumen: Ability to align technology strategies with organizational goals, leveraging technology as an enabler for business growth and competitive advantages.
Experience providing technical due diligence and post-acquisition support for technology integration/resource planning as part of ongoing M&A activities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to communicate complex technology concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, influencing decisions, and building partnerships.
Desired/Preferred Qualifications
Advanced Partner Certifications (such as CCIE)
Experience in an IT role as a customer
