- Developing, managing and publishing research projects within the field of approximate dynamic programming or revenue management
- Assisting in teaching of introductory math or optimization classes
- Supervision of Bachelor or Master theses
- Strong background in mathematics and an excellent master's degree in (applied) Mathematics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related, quantitative field of study
- Solid knowledge of optimization and/or stochastic processes
- Good knowledge in at least one higher programming language (e.g. Matlab, AMPL)
- Strong motivation for scientific research and teaching
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Reliable team players
