Primary Function of Position
The Service Contract Administrator will perform a full spectrum of contracts administration tasks including billing and negotiation of service contract and subscription renewals. Ensure all customer needs and requirements are attended to for all service contract related business.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating service contract and digital subscription addendums and documentation associated with renewals and offerings
- Analyze contracts to ensure compliance to company policy, government regulations, and revenue recognition requirements
- Enter and maintain service contracts for released products in the Contract Database
- Process Service Contract and subscription billings for customers and distributors
- Maintain Intuitive’s various contract databases
- Generate and distribute reports for the purpose of monitoring and measuring service contract status and revenue
- Assist Finance and Field Service on service contract collections
- Support Field Service in the daily service contract activities
- Assist Contracts team with Surgeon Service, Proctoring, System Move, and Marketing agreements
- Develop and maintain positive customer relations with external customers; coordinate various functions within the company to ensure customer satisfaction
Required Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of standard legal terms and conditions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in French, English, German required
- Detail oriented, organized, and able to function in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in MS Office
- Proficient SAP skills and a general knowledge of its reporting functions
- Proactive and ability to work independently
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Required Education and Training
- BA/BS preferred or equivalent experience
- 2 - 5 years of related work experience
