COMMUNICATIONS AND PUBLIC AFFAIRS OFFICER 6-MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT
The Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) is the governing body of motor sport and the federation of the
world's leading motoring organisations. The FIA is an international non-profit association.
OVERVIEW:
The Communications and Public Affairs Officer is in charge of implementing efficient communications around FIA campaigns
and events as well as mobility programmes to make the Federation the global voice for motor sport and mobility and a
key player in the shaping of a more sustainable, inclusive and accessible mobility for tomorrow. This six-month fixed term
contract is a maternity leave replacement.
MISSIONS AND RESPONSABILITIES:
-Implement efficient communications strategies to promote the activities, campaigns and events of the FIA, its Mobility regions
and its Members.
-Identify, create and pitch FIA stories across different channels.
-Draft content and produce BtoB, BtoG and BtoC communications materials (news stories, FIA publications,
social media posts and other digital assets, press releases, newsletters,web pages and websites, notes, briefings, forewords, etc.).
-Promote global campaigns and FIA programmes.
-Create content on fia.com and social media channels (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).
-Assist with the management of photographers, videographers and external providers or agencies.
-Prepare and conduct video interviews with high-level representatives.
-Develop media relations with key mobility media (transport, automotive, NGOs).
-Work closely with the wider FIA Communications team, the FIA Mobility team and Mobility Regions’ Coordinators and
other relevant departments.
PROFILE:
-Five years of professional experience in a similar position related to communications, public affairs and mediators and
other relevant departments.
-Master's degree in communications, journalism, politics or other relevant field.
-Knowledge of InDesign is a plus.
-Fluent in English. Additional languages would be a plus.
