As Analyst/Portfolio Manager - Thematic Equities at Bank J. Safra Sarasin you are focused on green investment themes and responsible for identifying high conviction stock ideas, support in portfolio management activities and development of analytical tools for the broader Thematic Equities team.
- Analyze and select the best stocks benefiting from the green transition theme
- Discuss and present your high conviction investment cases to equities team PM's/analysts
- Co-manage a global thematic investment portfolio
- Perform operational portfolio management tasks across investment strategies in an efficient and effective way
- Present thematic equities investment strategies to internal and external clients
- Develop analytical tools and improve existing investment processes
- University degree in a relevant field CFA or other advanced education is a plus
- At least 3-5 years of practical experience in the field of equity analysis or portfolio management covering sectors such as Industrials, Materials, Renewables or Technology
- Industry specific knowledge is an advantage
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills and experience with Bloomberg; quantitative analysis experience and knowledge of either VBA, Python or other programming languages is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with passion for equity investing
- Creative out-of-the-box thinker and strong team player with hands-on mentality, curiosity and eagerness to learn new things
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Fluency in English, German is a plus
