MARKETING MANAGER (F/M/X) - MATERNITY REPLACEMENT- 6 Months

Our client, a leading FMCG (Food) International Company, is seeking a dynamic individual to replace its current Marketing Manager during a maternity leave. This 6-month position, reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the transformation of a renowned brand in the fresh produce industry.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Brand Strategy: Translate consumer data into actionable insights for new brand development.
  • Category Segmentation: Identify new opportunities within the existing product portfolio based on consumer needs, target demographics, and usage occasions.
  • Market Support: Assist in new market entries and support existing markets with branded business initiatives.
  • Consumer Communication: Develop and test marketing assets, manage media buying (digital, outdoor, in-store) in collaboration with partner agencies, and deploy these strategies in the market.
  • Cross-Functional Teamwork: Ensure effective collaboration from project inception to launch with all relevant business partners.
  • Proposal Management: Request and benchmark proposals for concept tests, media purchases, and activations.

Profile

Requirements:

  • 5-6 years of progressive consumer marketing experience, including consumer understanding (syndicated and panel data), brand equity building, and communication platform development.
  • Digitally native with a knack for connecting multi-source data and insights into coherent business strategies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to apply consumer insight tools and strategic approaches effectively.
  • Proven communication skills to present confidently and convincingly, with an ability to manage multiple stakeholders and tight project deadlines.
  • Experience in efficient marketing spend management (budgeting, agency management).
  • Fluent in English, with advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and ThinkCell.
  • Willingness to travel (15%).
  • Comfortable working in a multinational environment based in Geneva Canton.
