Responsibilities:
- Execute precise month-end trade accounting in line with IFRS for profit centers
- Deliver concise monthly IFRS P/L and working capital reports.
- Skillfully reconcile and document month-end P/Ls; scrutinize SG&A/overhead reporting
- Provide adept support to regional offices during period close
- Collaborate seamlessly with Middle Office to address intra-period P/L reconciliation breaks
- Offer valuable assistance to front and middle office for ad-hoc financial reports and analysis
- Skillfully coordinate audits and execute meticulous financial governance testing
- Monitor and control application access and segregation of duties
- Collaborate on nuanced IFRS accounting treatment for new deals; ensure Middle Office price curves comply
- Streamline and automate manual journal entries; rigorously review system-generated entries
- Identify and implement top-tier accounting practices with trade accounting teams
Qualifications:
- Possess a background in accounting
- Either qualified or progressing towards CA/CPA/ACCA
- Advanced Excel skills
- Knowledge of SAP FI/Co and BW highly desirable
- Fluent in English
