Base Maintenance Engineer
Founded in 1969, ZIMEX AVIATION, based in Switzerland and holder of a EASA Air Operator Certificate, is active in the field of Special Mission Aviation, with aircraft operations in Africa, the Middle East and Asia and since 2016 also with a European express freight operation.
Our own EASA Part 145 maintenance Organization assures that scheduled and unscheduled maintenance is performed to the highest quality standards in the field by our own engineers, who form an integral part of our crew.
- Performing of scheduled / unscheduled aircraft maintenance activities in full compliance with specifications of pertinent authorities, manufacturer’s instruction and general rules applicable to works performed on aircraft/components
- Troubleshooting of aircraft / Engine systems as per manufactures instructions
- Compliance of SB’s and AD’s in full compliance with specifications of pertinent authorities and manufacturer’s instruction
- Performing of mechanical repairs and minor structural repairs as per manufacturer’s instruction
- Performing of system adjustments and operational checks
- Rectification of repairs during flight operations
- Apprenticeship as a mechanic or similar education
- Additional training as an airplane mechanic B1 (DHC 6 / C208 Type-rating )
- 3 Years’ experience in Base and/or Line Maintenance
- Good English knowledge
- PC skills (Word/Excel)
- Multifunctional applicability as well as independent working
- High reliability
