Fortinet - Firewall - IPS - VPN - LDAP - Design - Engineering - Support

Responsibilities

• Engineering, development, maintenance and support of processes and tools for a global Fortigate firewall infrastructure in the financial industry
• Configure and maintain the authorization rules for the access to security devices
• Enhance and automate of recurring firewall operating tasks
• Management and operation of the Firewall infrastructure (i.e., HW/SW maintenance, Policy, and Rules)
• Provide 1st and 2nd level support for the Network Firewall, VPN and IPS infrastructure
• Create concepts and technical designs for new or changed customer requirements, as well as for the further development of Network Security Firewall, VPN and IPS solutions and services
• Ensure adequate know-how transfer to relevant stakeholders, e.g., by maintaining the service documentation and by carrying out presentations / learning sessions

Requirements

• Several years of Firewall engineering experience in an enterprise environment
• Experience and solid knowledge of Fortinet / Fortigate firewalls
• Experience with network security authentication and compliance tools
• General network engineering experience
• Very good English language skills

Nice to have

• Experience with LDAP, RADIUS, cloud-based authentication and AlgoSec
• Experience with Linux Shell scripting
• German language skills

Personality

• Team player with good communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Able to work independently and under pressure
