Senior engineer lab system

Our client, a global and growing biotechnology company with a strong reputation is looking for a Senior Lab System Engineer to join his team in Vaud canton.

This role is administrator of LIMS QC system and complex laboratory equipment.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Serve as the primary contact for LIMS/ELN and complex lab equipment for the Bioplant (such as HPLC, UPLC, Solo VPE)
• Create and oversee access and change requests on LIMS/ELN, evaluating their impact on other sites utilizing LIMS.
• Administer complex lab equipment, manage access rights, and oversee software updates for equipment.
• .Ensure data integrity compliance of LIMS/ELN systems.
• Prepare systems and equipment for inspections at any time and offer support during inspections.
• Manage and follow up: change controls, documentation, trainings, periodic reviews, unexpected events and CAPAs
• Contribute to periodic reviews and audits of equipment/systems within the scope of responsibility.
• Support the Health Authorities inspections through your personal expertise field
• Present specific topics to health authorities
• Back-up of Quality Champion for E&M department
• Contribute positively to a strong culture of business integrity and ethics
• Act within compliance and legal requirements as well as within company guidelines
• Coach and support team members in lab systems and equipment compliance matters.
  

YOUR PROFILE :

• Background in Chemistry, Bioprocessing, technical engineering or laboratory
• At least 8 Years experience in the biotech, pharmaceutical or chemical industry environment.
• Hands on experience of equipment and software qualification
• Very good knowledge in LIMS system (Labware is a plus)
• Demonstrated solid hands on experience in GMPs
• French and English (fluent)
